Tim Burton gets back to doing what he does best - hyping traditional family values through visions inspired by random mixtures of pharmaceuticals.
 Dad: Son, someday your little minnow will turn into a big fish, and do wondrous things.
 Mom: Yes, even when you were born, the doctors at the hospital said you were well hung.
 Sis: He's gonna stunt its growth if he keeps going through socks the way he is. Why can't he do his own laundry?
 Bro: Doctors? You said you found me inside a pie at the grocery store! Have you been lying to me all this time?!
 Baby: "Cult favorite" written all over it. Visually fantastic, but Tim Burton's definitely got his own thing going on. Me, I bet it's better than that Eddie Griffin baby movie that just opened - and I like babies!
 Verdict: If you see it in the theater, play it safe and catch a matinee.
