A Dysfunctional Family of Five Reviews...Mean Girls!

Will it suck because of Lorne Michaels' hands all over it, like most movies with Saturday Night Live cast members? Or will SNL head writer and Weekend Update goddess Tiny Fey save it with her screenplay? The suspense nearly gave us hangnails…

Dad: Look, you can't just put a bunch of hot teenage girls in short skirts and think you can win my affections so easily. I need to be romanced. I need to be seduced. I need a scenario.

Mom: You're the only man I know who's like that, too. You were a hot ticket for the twelve seconds that metrosexuals were "in."

Sis: [Broke down in sobbing hysterics; wailed "Why am I so evil?" and locked herself in her room without further comment.]

Bro: They're only mean to each other until a common enemy comes along. Then that enemy might find himself locked in the crawl space under the house for three days with nothing but rock salt and a rabid badger.Why didn't anyone come looking for me?

Baby: Fey saves it! And let's not forget to mention Lindsay Lohan, who has to walk a fine line with her character and pulls it off with style. Even the SNL cast members littered throughout the movie add good things to it, rather than dragging it down like a dense weight in the bottom of a diaper.

Verdict: If you want to see anything on the big screen this week, we say this is the best of the bunch.
