A Dysfunctional Family of Five Reviews...Fahrenheit 9/11!

Our non-partisan movie review family takes on Michael Moore's long-hyped screed against all things Bush. For reasons unknown, Dad loaded a sports bottle with straight tequila and handed the keys over to Mom for the night.

Dad: [Singing in the worst cabaret voice at top volume] So let's leave it alone/ 'cause we can't see eye to eye/ there ain't no good guys/ there ain't no bad guys/ there's only you and me and we just disagree/ oooo oooo oooo oooo/ waa-aaa waa-aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa…

Mom: Finish the bottle, for Mel's sake! You're so much easier to deal with when you're unconscious.

Sis: Omigod, this is just like when he showed up drunk for our neighbor's bris. That rabbi had, like, no sense of humor.

Bro: I wonder if they kept the foreskin...I would've.

Baby: Since I can't vote yet, I can only judge this movie by whether it lives up to what it promises. For the most part, it does. Sure, it repeats things that have been previously reported, but so does CNN - every five minutes. And if you put 9/11 in the title, don't talk about the 2000 election, Michael, okay? Scope creep only makes it less powerful.

Verdict: See it on the big screen - but only if you take someone of the opposite political persuasion with you, so you can argue about it over coffee afterwards.
