A Dysfunctional Family of Five Reviews...Anchorman!

King Arthur isn't the only legend in theaters this week. Will Ferrell stars as Ron Burgundy, the latest loopy jerk in a series of Ferrell's loopy jerk portrayals (i.e., Frank the Tank, James Lipton, George W. Bush). The family decided to deliver their comments in local news promo fashion.

Mom: IN OTHER NEWS, OUR HIDDEN CAMERAS REVEAL WHERE THE MANICURIST USES HER TOOLS - BEFORE SHE USES THEM ON YOU!

Sis: PLUS, FIND OUT WHICH TOTAL BRITNEY SPEARS WANNABE IS FLIRTING WITH YOUR EX-BOYFRIEND! THAT SLEAZY PLASTIC WANG-TEASE!

Bro: THANKS, SIS! AND BY THE WAY, DO YOU KNOW WHICH POISONOUS BUG IS POOPING IN YOUR MOUTH WHILE YOU SLEEP? FILM AT ELEVEN!

Baby: I wanted this to be really, really good, but Hollywood hyped me up like my allergy medicine does. However, it is good enough, and Will Ferrell's gift for disappearing into character serves him well. As does his supporting cast, especially Steve Carell - just like in Bruce Almighty, he kills every time he's onscreen.

Verdict: If you're looking for laughs on the big screen, go for it. It's a good rental otherwise.
