A Dysfunctional Family of Five Reviews...Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle!

If these crazy foreign kids are obsessing over White Castle, then the assimilation is complete. Resistance was, indeed, futile. A lot of people are trying to make up for a lot of bad movies here, including stars John Cho (Pavilion of Women) and Kal Penn (Love Don't Cost a Thing), and director Danny Leiner (Dude, Where's My Car?).

Dad: Omigod, where're all the white people?! I don't know how to respond to a movie without lots and lots of white people!

Mom: You laugh at them, just like all the Vietnamese women laugh at you when you go in to have the hair waxed from your back fat.

Sis: Munchies'll get ya in trouble all right. I gained almost three pounds after Roach Kirkson made up that thing about me and the penetrating sports gel. Dink.

Bro: Maybe THAT'S why all the bugs in the yard are so freaky. It's 'cause they're high on grass, man, GRASS!

Baby: I kinda liked Dude, Where's My Car? It was a sort of...well I don't know what the Barney it was, but it made me smile. And this one makes me laugh out loud. Good job, Danny Lenier and gang! You want babies to laugh, don't you?

Verdict: In good conscience, we can only recommend a matinee. But it could be worth full price if you know what you're getting into.
