Ted Turner Elaborates on CNN's Many Perversions
Angry former CNN boss Ted Turner says the cable network is losing viewers because it focuses too much time on perverts. "The news clip where Laura Bush accuses her husband of fondling a male horse was shown 127 times," an irate Turner fumed. "Even horse lovers got sick of it."
Turner added, "What's with the 24-hour coverage of Michael Jackson? I mean, why the sudden interest in this kook? Michael Jackson should have been neutered when he started grabbing his crotch and dry humping on stage back in the 80s."
Turner is convinced the downward spiral of morality in media started with the movie Deliverance. "That guy threw Ned Beatty over a log and had at him and we did nothing," Turned explained. "We just sat there eating our popcorn and milk duds and let the culture be sodomized. And see where it's led to.
'"It's reached a point to where anything goes," Turner said, shaking his head. "I learned an hour ago that Paris Hilton has been invited to address a joint session of Congress."
Turner says he was particularly disappointed by CNN's repeated coverage of the ugly incidents that occurred on Jane Fonda's book tour.
"Jane Fonda is not married to me now," an exasperated Turner said. "Who on earth could possibly be interested in her anymore?"
