McGreevey's Admission Opens the Door for Other Politicians

Vote now!

Who else do YOU think will come out of the government's closet?
Donald Rumsfeld
Seriously, it's Rummy
No, I'm dead flippin' certain it's him
New Jersey Governor James McGreevey's stunning admission that he is gay has apparently emboldened others in public life to open a frank, and frankly icky, dialogue about their private lives and sexual habits.

Perhaps the most shocking of the post-McGreevey confessions comes from former President Jimmy Carter, in an interview with 60 Minutes' Mike Wallace. In the interview Carter reveals that while Governor of Georgia he had a "very sinful, yet undeniably hot" relationship with a then unknown Eric Estrada.

"It was wrong, but he had such gorgeous teeth, just like mine," Carter admits of his dalliance with Estrada, who would go on to earn superstar status in the compelling police drama ChiPs.

Estrada has reportedly confirmed the story, revealing that Carter had him appointed to the Georgia Highway Patrol afterward.

"No, he wasn't qualified for the job, but I knew he'd look cute in the uniform," the former President admitted to Wallace with a blush. "I was right, though. The whole nation ended up falling in love with Eric in a uniform."

More predictably, aides to New York's androgynous Governor George Pataki revealed that, though "not gay," the governor has "fetishes directly related to having sex with men."

More specifically, the Governor is allegedly partial to luring homeless men into compromising sexual positions in exchange for slices of stale bread.

One Pataki aide told DeadBrain, "The governor simply enjoys humiliating straight homeless men by getting them to perform sex acts on him in exchange for food or life-saving medicine."

News of Pataki's habits was overshadowed by what many believed to be the most shocking of the week's disclosures - the announcement by former President George H.W. Bush that wife Barbara is in fact a man.

"I'm tired of living a lie, of living in shame," the former President wrote in an open letter to Transsexual America Weekly. "I'm married to a marvelously strong man who enjoys living life as a woman."

Responding to his father's confession, the current President Bush said, "Now at least I understand why Mom was always able to beat up the smart kids' parents for me."
