Dick Cheney Craving More Bush
In an interview aired on CNN's "Larry King Live," Vice President Dick Cheney told the bony talk-show host that First Lady Laura Bush would be a great presidential candidate in 2008.
When the stunned gabmeister didn't respond fast enough to suit him, Cheney reached over and began angrily snapping King's gaudy suspenders, until he was calmed by his patient wife, Lynn Cheney.
Political pundits say a Laura Bush candidacy would be novel on several counts. She would be the first librarian to seek the presidency, and the first candidate who rose to prominence based on a televised "masturbating a horse" joke.
An unnamed source present in the CNN studio for the Larry King interview said that during a commercial break, Cheney told King that it would be great to have Laura Bush and Hillary Clinton running against each other in 2008.
Allegedly, Cheney said, "A presidential catfight would really get me hot!" It was at this point that Mrs. Cheney allegedly slapped the crap out of him.
It was also rumored that Vice President Cheney, notoriously bad-tempered, swore a vile oath at Larry King after the interview.
A spokesman from the vice president's office said today that Cheney did no such thing. He was only cursing his wife.
