DeadBrain.com Takes Top Honors at Satire Awards, Maintains Appearance of Humility
Aug 7 2005 by Allen Voivod
The Satire Awards closed another round of voting on July 15th, 2005, and DeadBrain.com took first place in the "Best Established Site" vote for the third time running! In addition, we also took home our first top prize for Site Design, and six other awards, including:
for Jim Bauman's A Day and a Night of Horse Feathers and Animal Crackers in Duck Soup
for Ross Bender's High Court Orders Tom DeLay's Feeding Tube Removed
for John Hetherington's North Korea Opens Arms Talks With Tommy Hilfiger
for R.C. Johnson's Hootie to Clown: Bring It On!
for Greg Kuhl's Chickens in Boxing Gloves? That's Just the Start!
for Tara Zucker's Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Alderson (Martha Stewart)
On behalf of everyone who works on and contributes to DeadBrain, I'd like to say thank you to our ever-expanding and increasingly rabid fan base for making this possible. And as for the foaming-at-the-mouth thing, well, we find it strangely attractive, so don't change a thing.
Warm regards,
Allen Voivod
