Submit Content
Important Information
DeadBrain's online submission service is designed to make it easier for writers to submit content for inclusion on the site and easier for the poor, over-worked, beleaguered (etc etc) editor to use it.
It saves messing about with emails, which are liable to get lost, and makes formatting easier. You don't need to include any special coding - line breaks will be automatically saved - but you can use HTML formatting code (<b>, <i>, etc) in the body if you wish.
The process works like this:
- You fill in this form with your article headline, body text, etc and username and password (if you are already a member these are the same, if not you can register here).
- Your article is stored in a database.
- The editor will read what you submitted and one of the following things will happen:
- Article added
Your work is put online for all to see. You will get a thank you message containing the URL.
- Article put on hold
Your work will be put online soon, but so you know it's wanted you will receive a message saying so.
- Article declined
For whatever reason this particular piece isn't wanted. You will receive an email advising you of this.
The form itself should be self-explanatory, but if you have any problems with the system at all you are welcome to get in touch. We would also be interested to hear your feedback on it and any suggestions for improvement.
